Statement

I am an experienced graphic designer and marketing and brand manager with a demonstrated history of working in the government relations industry, leading my communication team to reach strategic marketing and engagement goals.

I am skilled in designing ideas into organized layouts, logos, brochures, and have considerable expertise in Adobe design products, and office suite products, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) focused in Electronic Media Arts Design from the University of Denver.

I am efficient in marketing community programs and events as well as communicating vital clear and concise information during public emergencies. I design a diversity of ways for audiences to participate and engage, including information on various online platforms, social media, print, and in-person; promoting access to audiences with limited technology access, visual, physical or audio differences, and non-english speaking languages.

When managing projects, I take a high-level and detailed look at process and product improvement to focus on possible solutions, and to move forward toward a positive outcome.

Brand Manager

City and County of Broomfield

​2021 - present

In addition to Senior Communications Engagement Specialist duties, develop communication and engagement strategies to effectively inform, and build relationships with audiences. Manage brand strategy, design, training and compliance. Additionally, serve as primary graphic designer, support resident and internal engagement, lead the communications team in marketing strategy, and oversee internal training.

Achievements:

  • Took over management of an in-progress web redesign project

  • Assisted in the creation of a Communications Strategic Plan

  • Integrated Accessibility recommendations into CCOB's brand Guidelines

  • Process mapped Program Guide project to identify process improvements

Senior Communications Engagement Specialist

City and County of Broomfield

In addition to Communications Engagement Specialist duties, implement and reinforce a strong brand identity for the City and County of Broomfield, creating templates and graphic elements to use across departments.

Achievements:

  • Redesigned Recreation's Program Brochure into a city-wide Program Guide

  • Drove design decisions for the public-faciling registration website

  • Organized photo library, and made them accessible to every employee

  • Created Broomfield's first interactive Annual Community Report

  • Drove design decisions for Broomfield's Website re-design, using analytics and brand standards.

Communications Engagement Specialist

Create and manage digital and print marketing through graphic design, various social media platforms, email communications and website management. Work with other employees, departments/divisions to reach their targeted audience, increase customer interaction, and grow participation by creating customized and effective marketing campaigns. 

Achievements:

  • Created various enewsletter templates for departments

  • Created a brand standard book 

  • Created city-wide marketing campaign brands for B Healthy Broomfield and Creative Broomfield

  • Helps establish protocols for marketing campaigns for departments, including standard timelines, tasks, and workflows

  • Started a city-wide advertising / sponsorship database

 

 

Recreation Facility Coordinator – Graphic Design

2008 - 2014

 

Perform all Recreation Facility Coordinator duties. Produce visual solutions to communication needs, including websites, brochures, advertising, fliers, and posters for Recreation and Special Events. Facilitate marketing strategies to increase revenue.

Achievements:

  • Helped establish a Marketing Committee, and keep records of marketing effort results

  • Designed brochure to allow for more content within the same format, and saved $10k by printing bi-annual brochures

  • Successfully complete the annual Colorado Fireworks Tournament Program, acquiring sponsorships totaling $4000

  • Design various publications for large public events such as the City of Broomfield’s 50th and County’s 10th Anniversary

  • Created a “Brand” for Broomfield Recreation Services, incorporating professional and creative designs.
